The Challenge

What we were up against

Retail loyalty has a quiet death. Points accumulate in forgotten accounts, the app gets deleted, and the brand becomes one more dead icon on the home screen. Safar Points was built to break that loop by making travel the reward worth coming back for.

The product had to feel like one thing while sitting on top of many. Partner booking systems, each with their own API. Multiple payment gateways across markets. An existing merchant ecosystem we were not replacing. Safar Points lived in the middle of all of it, and the customer was never supposed to feel the seams.

The region's retail landscape is fragmented. Payment rails differ by country, merchant tech ranges from modern POS to handwritten receipts, and travel partners each speak their own API dialect. The platform had to absorb all of that and still feel simple.

Our Approach

How we solved it

1

Product Design and UX

One interaction model across iOS, Android, and web, built around how people think about rewards: earn, see, redeem, travel. Every screen shaped for the moment, not the system behind it.

2

Consumer Apps, Web and Mobile

Native apps for iOS and Android plus a responsive web experience. Shoppers watch their balance grow, discover trips, and redeem points into real travel. One account, three surfaces, the same instincts.

3

Integration Layer

We plugged into the existing merchant ecosystem. Multiple booking systems and payment gateways, normalized and hidden. One pipe the customer never sees.
