Salary advances in Jordan have historically been a paperwork problem. Employees fill forms, HR sign-offs stack up, finance teams cut manual disbursements, and a worker who needs cash this week waits two. NMB wanted to collapse that whole loop into a mobile app issued by the bank itself, not a third-party fintech, with full regulatory cover.

The product is B2B2C by design. Companies enroll, NMB underwrites, and only verified employees of partner companies can borrow. That meant a Company Code gate at sign-up, role-aware authorization for HR and finance, and integration with payroll so repayments come out of the next paycheck without anyone touching a spreadsheet.

And because this is regulated lending, the app had to be transparent on terms by default. APR, repayment window, installment math, and total payback shown before a single tap of Submit. No dark patterns, no hidden fees, and an audit trail that satisfies both NMB's compliance team and the regulator.
