We collect the minimum needed to run the website and talk to you. No selling, no dark patterns. Here is exactly what we do.

Who we are
WeTheMakers LLC is a digital product studio and developer school based in Amman, Jordan. This policy covers wethemakers.dev and any forms on the site.

What we collect
Contact forms: name, email, and whatever you choose to write. Stored in our email inbox and sent to [email protected] via SMTP. We keep inquiries only as long as is useful for the conversation and typical project follow-up.
Careers and School applications: the fields you submit on those forms. Used only to evaluate your application and get back to you.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager track page views, referrers, and device info. PostHog may be used for product analytics. We do not build user profiles that identify you personally.
Search Console: aggregated, anonymous data about queries that led to the site. Never linked to individual visitors.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. A consent banner asks before any non-essential cookie is set.
Essential: session and preference cookies that make the site function (for example, remembering that you dismissed the cookie banner).
Analytics: GA4 and PostHog cookies that record page views and interactions in aggregate.
You can clear cookies at any time in your browser. Declining analytics does not degrade the site experience.
How we use your data
To reply to your inquiry, application, or partnership request.
To improve the site: what pages are read, what is ignored, what breaks.
To send follow-ups you explicitly opted into (not a newsletter unless you asked).
We do not sell data. We do not share data with advertisers. We do not enrich it with third-party data brokers.
Who else sees your data
Google: analytics and Search Console. Their policies apply.
Our email provider: receives messages sent via site forms.
PostHog (if enabled): product analytics.
Hosting infrastructure for wethemakers.dev: receives standard server access logs.
That is the full list. No resale, no downstream sharing.
Your rights
Access: ask what we hold on you and we will send it.
Deletion: ask us to delete your data and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Correction: tell us if anything we store is wrong.
Opt-out of analytics: decline in the cookie banner, or block cookies in your browser.
Write to [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request" and we will respond within 14 days.
Data retention
Form submissions: kept while the conversation is active plus a reasonable archive period. Deleted on request.
Analytics: retained per Google Analytics 4 default retention.
Server logs: rotated per standard operational policy.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we update this page and the Last updated date at the top. Material changes will also be called out in the cookie banner or on the home page.
