The Challenge

What we were up against

Goalngo is a professional network for the football world: players, coaches, scouts, and agents building profiles, connecting with each other, and finding jobs like a coaching role at a club. That is a lot of distinct, native-feeling screens to get right on both phones.

Goalngo already had apps and a team. What they needed was extra native engineering capacity to build specific features well, on iOS and Android, without slowing their own roadmap. This was feature support, not a rebuild.

And the features had to feel native and consistent across platforms: the same role selection, profiles, trophies, contacts, and in-chat job flows working naturally in Swift on iOS and Kotlin on Android.

Our Approach

How we solved it

1

Native Feature Support

We worked as an extension of the Goalngo team, building specific features inside their existing iOS and Android apps rather than taking over the whole build.

2

Swift and Kotlin, in Parallel

Each feature built natively on both platforms, Swift on iOS and Kotlin on Android, so it feels right on each and stays consistent across them.

3

Real Product Surfaces

Role selection, profiles and trophies, find-friends and contacts, and chat with in-line job postings: the day-to-day screens that make the network usable.
