The Challenge
What we were up against
Gaming retail needs attitude. SE Gaming sells high-end hardware (gaming laptops, desktops, and mining machines), and the storefront had to look the part: dark, neon, and bold, with full-bleed campaign imagery that reads as a gaming brand rather than a generic shop.
A storefront like that still has to be fast. The store is built on Magento 2 with a lean, modern front end, so the neon look never comes at the cost of a quick, responsive shopping experience.
Shoppers arrive knowing what they want, a laptop, a desktop, or a mining rig, so the store had to lead with clear categories and a rotating signature collection instead of burying products.
